YIPPEE! WE’RE HITTING THE TRAIL AGAIN!!!
At the Pasadena Tournament of Roses
After over a year of doing nothing, Larry and I are leaving home and going to Marshfield, MO. I have been asked to participate in their Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival from April 21 through the 24th. The event kicks off with a Blue Grass concert the night of the 21st. There will be celebrity and author panels on the 22nd. Then you can meet the celebrities up close on the 23rd and 24th. The guest celebrities are actors and entertainers from some of your favorite TV series and films, and relatives of several past US presidents. There will also be vendors with lots of interesting things to buy. The Festival has several great websites and the event looks like it offers something for everyone in the family.
Larry is from Missouri and still has family in the Independence area. We hope that some of them can make it over to the Festival.
On May 8, we will be at the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum in Cleburne, TX, for “An Afternoon With the Cowboy Princess.” I will show a documentary on my Dad called, “Roy Rogers, In His Own Words.” After the film, I will talk for a few minutes and then take questions from the audience. This will be followed by special musical entertainment. If you happen to be in the area, I hope you can join us and, if you can, think up a good question or two to ask! I look forward to seeing you there.
I was born in Dallas and hope to see family and friends while we are in the area.
We will be motoring down the highways in what we lovingly call the “RR Mobile.” Feel free to honk if you see us on the road.
Keep an eye open for more announcements about these two programs as I get more details. Feel free to go to the websites for the Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival and the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum for updates.
I hope to see you at one of these events.
Until then, Happy Trails! Cheryl
