A jury found Roy Rogers’ performing horse, Trigger, innocent today of kicking a woman and turned down a $186,000 damage suit against the cowboy star. The jury took only thirty-five minutes to decide that a 52 year old bit player was not entitled to damages on her claim that she had suffered serious injuries when kicked by Trigger during the filming of a movie.
Just found this article in an old scrapbook. Of course Trigger was innocent! Have a great day! Cheryl

This is referenced in the ILLUSTRATED HISTORY OF TRIGGER book. I have the court transcripts. It was Little Trigger behaving badly as over stimulated stallions are inclined to do. No jury was going to convict the singing cowboy and his horse. The victim never had a chance. I am glad Little Trigger won.
I think that a lot of people would not mind being kicked ( Lightly ) by TRIGGER
