On My Way to Kanab, Utah

Just got back from a great trip to Weatherford, Texas helping raise monies for a much needed new senior center. The introduction of my new book, “Cowboy Princess Rides Again,” was a big success.

Leave for Kanab, UT tomorrow morning to, hopefully, sign a lot of books and do a program on Mom (Dale Evans) and one on Dad (Roy Rogers).  We always have a marvelous time in Kanab.  Attending their Western Legends Roundup is what originally introduced me to Utah and I’ve been in love ever since.

If you like wonderful Western celebrities: Bruce Boxleitner, Don Collier, Barry Corbin, Kathy Garver, Dan Haggerty, Darby Hinton, Wyatt McCrea, a long-horn cattle drive down Main Street and more, you should join us this weekend, August 27-29 in Kanab.

Please feel free (that means please do) to comment on whatever you read here. Let me know if you like it or not. Also, if you read my book(s) and want to know more about a subject, you an contact me here and let me know.

Happy trails, Cheryl

On the road to Weatherford, Texas

I leave early tomorrow morning to join my good friend, Shelly Burmeister Mowery, in raising funds for a new senior center to be built in Weatherford.  I can hardly wait to get to Shelly and Rick’s ranch and see their new crop of quarter horse foals.  They sure breed some beautiful babies!

I’ll be back next week just in time for Larry and I to take off for Kanab, UT and the Western Legends Roundup.

Hope to see you down the trail.  Cheryl
