The original Trigger, The Old Man, The Old Horse, would be celebrating his 83rd birthday today, if horses lived that long! He was truly a very special horse. He was all spirit and fire when Dad rode him and he was the most gentle of giants when I rode him (as a nine-year-old) across the Van Nuys Wash to the Mom and Pop grocery store on Woodman Avenue.

My friend and author of the upcoming ultimate Trigger book, Leo Pando, just shared this photo of a very young Trigger with me and said that I can share it with you.

Hi, I’m pretty sure that I have already told you that I am practically an illiterate as far as all new programs and apps go. For instance, I did not know that the new “smart” TVs have a YouTube button or that you can watch YouTube on your iPad or “smart” phone. I just found that out from my partner, Bob Terry (I think he thought that I already knew how YouTube works).  I have been telling all of you to go to our websites (www.cherylrogers.com and www.westernstarstheater.com) but I haven’t told any of you that both of those are YouTube channels!!!

You can find even more stuff on our YouTube channels, “Cheryl Rogers” and “Western Stars Theater,” than is on our websites.
