Macintosh & TJ is Coming Soon!!!
Dad’s last picture (released in 1975) is coming next month to Video on Demand (VOD) on Amazon! I think this is one of his absolute best films and he doesn’t even play Roy Rogers!!!
The release date is April 6 for the VOD and May 18 for release on DVD and BluRay (available through Amazon and at Walmart).
Click below to see the new trailer and see how beautifully they have restored this film. The Texas Panhandle has never looked so gorgeous!!!

It’s about time!! Thank you for this very welcome great news! I’ve been lamenting, not having the bootleg all this time. Cannot wait! Roy just lifts everything up.
Btw I play his and Dale’s music from the big “It was always the Music” book daily when I practice piano. It’s so beautiful, and a real joy. People still need Roy!!
Cheryl-Cannot wait! Absolutely love watching your Daddy in anything!!
Thank you Cheryl. Wonderful news and a lovely film. Your dad as a “regular guy” may of been his greatest triumph in acting. Love this film. Simply a treasure. Makes me feel like getting a truck ha ha. The emotions and feelings of someone caring enough are fabulous. I wish this could be shown throughout the world.
Yea – thanks for the great news! So happy! I just pre-ordered three DVDs – can hardly wait!
I visited the museum in Apple Valley several times years ago, not knowing at the time that your father may have been in his office at the time. Sorry I didn’t get to meet him. Your parents are an inspiration and encouragement to those of us who have lost a child. I have the VHS of the movie but can’t wait to get the DVD.
Along w my large collection of Roy and Dale a collection of 45 of my 50 years I have the Macantosh and TJ press book and photos from your dads last film and I have one from his first Under Western Stars…we love ya Roy and Dale
Hello Cheryl. Can’t wait to see your Dad’s last movie.
This is a completely different subject but I’ve been trying for years to find Linda Lou. Do you remember the 7 rings your Dad made for all the kids?
Long story but, I have Linda Lous’ ring. I would like to see that it is safely returned to her. No strings attached. I pray that she is still alive and not parted from us.
I know if I had a ring my Dad had made special for me and I had lost track of it, I would surely be thankful to get it back. Like Roy, my Dad is gone also. They were both great men.

Hi Velna, I spoke with Linda yesterday and neither of us can remember Dad ever making rings for us. The ring must hav been made for a different Linda Lou. Happy trails, Cheryl
Mac & TJ is the true final ride from Roy on the big screen and off into the hearts and minds of the World that loved him for over 30 years on the big screen. This movie shows Roy’s pure, raw acting talent that took years for him to establish in an honorable career he held in Hollywood. The World is a better place because of Roy Rogers and this single film will show you that as you watch it time and time again. Long Live Roy Rogers!
Bonjour Cheryl
