We had the greatest time at the Lone Pine Film Festival. Got to see a lot of good friends, attend some super panels and presentations and had great food. I had the pleasure of introducing William Wellman, Jr. and Jay Dee Witney. They both made wonderful presentations of their fathers’ work.
The museum is looking fabulous! New windows saluting the fine actors and directors who made films in Lone Pine. We, Larry and I, had friends from St. George who attended the festival for the first time and had such a great time that they have already booked their rooms for next year along with a couple of extra rooms for friends to come with them. If you have never been but like films and beautiful scenery, you are really missing a good time. Next year the festival will salute silent films and the early films that were made in the area. Come join us.
