My Dad (Roy Rogers) always had a thing about Christmas trees. He always wanted the biggest and most beautiful one he could get into the house (a couple of our houses had low ceilings).
When Dad and Mom (Dale) got married, they bought Noah Beery Jr.’s home in the Hollywood Hills. That livingroom had a gorgeous picture window looking out over the canyon and a really high ceiling. Dad found an enormous tree that had been flocked with feathers! It barely needed lights as it had sparkly things mixed in with the duck down and it shown like a beacon!
Linda Lou and I had a small pink tree in our bedroom and Dusty got a small blue tree for his bedroom.
It was quite a memorable Christmas!!
